GREENSBORO — John L. Toumaras, 73, of Greensboro, passed away Sunday January 9, 2011 at Wesley Long Hospital.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday January 15, 2011 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm St. Chapel.

John L. Toumaras was born August 2, 1937 in Burlington. He is a graduate of Williams High School, Davidson College, and Duke Law School. He served in the U.S. Army JAG Corp and practiced Law in Greensboro for many years.

He is survived by his son L. John Toumaras and daughter-in-law Ann Cooley, granddaughter Katie Toumaras, sister and brother-in-law Ireni and Raz Autry, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
